Notification and alerts

The messages issued by SFTPPlus are controlled by message.conf. This provides the message text, severity, help and routing information. Please refer to the Audit chapter for further details.

Messages are routed based on severity. As supplied, all messages are written to the message.log file, and important messages are also written to the event log. The message route of 'console' will write to event log when running as a service.
